Mouth in area of woodland, probably infilled. Air pit for mine located c. 50m to SSE of given coordinates (probably also blocked).

Trench leading to adit visible on OS 1st Ed. (1864), & 1898 25" OS map (at given coordinates). Absent from Geological Survey map (only the shaft of Auldshiel Bridge Ironstone Pit shown).
