Mine (ironstone), 19th Century or older.
Marked on 1864 OS map as 'Ironstone Mine', above W bank of the Cameron Burn. Site now on margin of field/woodland.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: OS map notes 'mine' rather than 'pit', suggesting a drift mine rather than shaft. This would be consistent with the blackband ironstone outcropping at this locality (as shown on geol. survey map, although no mine symbol shown).
