Mine (ironstone), worked c.1856-57.
Small-scale longwall workings fanned-out SW from shaft (at given coordinates) for a max. distance of c.170 m to NW at [NS 7706 7157] (c.130 m to S). See abandonment plan in refs.
An additional ironstone pit is reportedly closer to the road at [NS 7720 71600].
