Former site of culvert inlet on the line of the Yokermains Burn. Downstream culvert probably incorporated into a longer culvert.
Until the early 20th century, the Yokermains Burn remained largely undisturbed. The construction of Anniesland Road (in [?]) had re-routed a small section but this remained a surface stream until the junction with Alderman Road was built ( in[?]). The upstream section of the burn was culverted after the closure of the hospital. and the redevelopment of the site for housing.
