A tall [2-3 m], 1.3 m wide entrance leads into linear passage with largely similar dimensions, ending abruptly after 15m. In a similar manner to the neighbouring Sangobeg Cave [1], a narrow opening (0.6 m wide) located 11 m along the northern wall leads into a perpendicular 9 m long / ~5 m wide section. The entirety of the cave floods at high tide.
Alternative Names: Uamh Rabhann, Sangobeg Cave No.2
Notes: Name derived from the Gaelic word for tidemark (rabhann), as opposed to the bird type.
