A short man-made tunnel allowing access between Castle Haven and Old Hall Bay. Now blocked at the N end by a metal fence-like gate which gives a good view in and through. It has a wider section just inside the S entrance.
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: The NGR is for the north entrance. The south entrance is at NO 88003 83873. Altitude is asl based on OS contours near the north entrance.
Access: from the path to the castle, through the fence warning against falling stones, over a scramble a little W of the tunnel to a narrow path on a steep slope, which goes E to just below the S entrance.
