Ironstone Pit (19th Century). Formerly at least 44 m deep, but now buried below moor/woodland on S margin of (disused) opencast coal mine/landfill site.

Given coordinates based on pit shaft marking shown on Geological Survey 6" map (10 fathoms [18 m] to Splint Coal & 24 fathoms [44 m] to ironstone).
