Culvert outfall on the site of the former Glen Bridge where Port Glasgow Road [more recently renamed Ardgowan Street] crossed the Devol Burn (and the boundary between Greenock and Port Glasgow) at the foot of Devol Glen. After crossing the burn the road continues as Belhaven Street.

Notes: The Devol Burn once formed the boundary between Port Glasgow and Greenock passing beneath Post Glasgow Road and Belhaven Street. The land to the north was formerly shipyards and timber yards but is now the Gallagher Shopping Park (B&Q Car Park).
