Original outfall from the Glenhuntly Burn into the River Clyde now (and since the 1960s) below built up ground. in the late 1990s more ground was reclaimed from the former shipyards and a new dual carriageway built diverting the A78 north around the new Tesco building. The culvet was extended and a new outfall constructed further north.
