Tidal sea cave at the head of a diagonal side-geo midway along the western side of the Geodha Smoo. Tufa deposits are visible in the highest parts of the cave, and a freshwater spring within the intertidal part of the cliff is present nearby.

The cave's name is derived from 'ská gil', meaning 'diagonal ravine' in Old Norse.
