Collapse of west bank on bend in River Traligill upstream of the waterfall above Lower Traligill Cave.
In moderately wet weather floodwater in the river above the waterfall disappears down a small hole in gravel bed of stream. This was investigated by diverting stream and digging but the river bank above is unstable and the hole rapidly infilled with silt and gravel.
Alternate Names: None recorded.
Notes: Excavation requires drought conditions and there is a more promising dig downstream.
