Site of shaft, blocked.

Sunk to the Adit Level that connected the lead workings of the Margarets Mine [site #10131] with those of Straitsteps to the NW [site #10083]. The BGS 10k map places this shaft S of a pathway, where a fenced-off area is visible from the roadside. This locality marks the intersection point of the Straitsteps-Margaret's Vein & the Lochnell Vein.
