Site along E slope of Glencrieff, crosscut in search of the S end of the Old Glencrieff Vein (probably unsuccessful owing to vein occurrence further E).
Alternative Names: None recorded.
Notes: Given coordinates approx. Wells' 1756 map shows this to be a short distance E of the level mouth into the New Glencrieff Mine [site #1099].
