Mine/Trial (Lead), early- or mid-18th c.
Situated high up S slope of Wanlock Dod, marked by an obvious spoil tip, although adit portal is probably blocked/buried. Described on 1756 map as: "High Drift all by the Quakers in search of the S end of the Cove Vein". Possibly the level connected to Ramsay's Shaft (see Mine Plan SP1768).
