Site of adit, early- or mid-18th c.

Labelled on Wells' 1756 map. Mine plan SP1751 suggests that SSE-trending level was approx 1000 ft long. Portal probably blocked, at head of spoil tip. OS map labels 'shafts' at [NS 8682 1309].
