Mine (Lead), early- or mid-18th c.
Remains of spoil tip visible on hillside. Portal probably buried; possibly the E end of the New Glencrieff Mine's High Adit [see AP11450.3], c.f. also Douglas' Drift adjacent to Lorimer's Shaft.
